Well balanced barrel
Written on Aug 29, 2026
Finding a really well made CHF barrel without crazy tooling marks in the bore, and having an improved profile over the standard Gov profile was always a challenge. Geissele really nailed it. Well balanced, not over gassed, well made, accurate. Thumbs up for sure!

Good value target
Written on Jul 29, 2026
Work well for pistol at 7 yards, and rifle at almost any distance. Pretty good value for the money for the pack. Not sure how well these would hold up in rain or really high winds as they are paper without coating. But for a sunny day at the range they are great!
Tight tolerances and great lockup

True Precision Glock 26 Non-Threaded Barrel
Paired with a Norsso slide. Lockup was very tight. Requires some break in to let the parts wear in together nicely. Great barrel. Only draw back is the finish wears off easily in contact areas. But that is to be expected to some degree.
Great compact light

Very versatile light! Appreciate how compact it is, and there are a lot of holsters available to accommodate this light as well.
Great Light!

Streamlight has come a long way, and they have really done a great job at innovating a new weapon light design. Very impressed with how compact it is, and it’s still plenty powerful. Will likely grab a couple more!
13.9" Option - Great Barrel to Consider
Written on Nov 08, 2024
I already had a 9" 300 BLK barrel, that is fantastic. But I was looking for another 300 BLK setup that could maximize the performance of supers, and still maintain subsonic performance. The 13.9 is a great option for this. Can pin/weld to 16" with several different muzzle devices, gives supers more velocity, and can still keep subsonic ammo below 1100 fps. Consider running a bootleg adjustable carrier to be able to tweak the gun to run sub's and super's without an adjustable gas block. That has worked really well for me with most 300 blk setups.
Always count on Aero!
Written on Aug 12, 2023
I found that Aero Precision is pretty much my “Go To” brand with AR parts. They tend to be the best option when looking to balance quality and price. BCM uppers have a slightly tighter fit of the barrel, but I’ve never seen a measurable difference in performance because of it.
Aero receivers are a great foundation for any build. Always had positive experiences with their parts.

PRI quality, great price
Written on Aug 12, 2023
Best value out there for mounting a RMR onto a scope. All the other options out there cost 2x+ more… PRI makes great gear. Very happy with it.
Includes multiple fasteners for the RMR which was nice. Some at varying lengths.
But sure to level the mount to your reticle unless you are intentionally mounting the dot offset.

Review for
Precision Reflex Retro Carbon Fiber Forearm
I always wanted to build a Mod 0 SPR, so naturally this handguard was a no brainer. The handguard itself, and the lockup at the barrel but is incredibly robust. The long threaded barrel nut, the jam nut, the set screws that tie them all together, and then the continuous top rail make for a really rigid platform. Very impressed!

NcSTAR Universal Pistol Rear Sight Tool
I was very impressed by how well this sight tool functioned, and the amount of adjustability it provides. It's surprising "solid" as well (I guess I set my expections low given the price). I've already used it on 2 Glock pistols, and I'm sure it will be used many more times in the future. Very happy with the purchase.
