I bought this green dot to put onto a competition build that I am working on...
Pros:
The shake awake is perfect.
Has a nice wide objective lens, low profile.
Battery load from the top.
3 MOA with a nice crisp dot
Cons:
Wish it took 2032 battery, but 1632 is not a problem.
Adjustments have virtually no click.
The objective lens is only 22mm high.
Warranty is only 10 years (compared to others lifetime)
Bottom line, I would recommend this optic over many others. However, I do have some buyer's remorse. Wish I spent the extra bucks and got the Justice II.

I got this to complete a G17 Zev Duty slide (I know, great slide, bad parts). Everything worked well except the extractor which was out of spec (would not fit). Fortunately, I have some extra Lone Wolf parts laying around, so I was able to complete my slide. That being said, I would recommend Lone Wolf over this kit. Why didn't I go with lone wolf to begin with? Mainly because I was curious which was better quality. LW wins in quality and precision fit. I will probably be buying a Zev kit in the future.

I got this for a G17 build. Paired with Lone Wolf frame, Lone Wolf parts kit, and Silencerco barrel.
I have used a few glock 19/18 slides in the past (stock, lone wolf, PSA). This slide is by far the best of them all. Very high quality.
Things that i like most:
The RMR slot has extra threads to grip that red dot. Unlike others, which have very few threading. I have had problems with other slides that barely hold an optic or interfere with the extractor plunger. This has plenty of threads and does not interfere with the operation.
I have had no holster compatability issues. Unlike others that are either too boxy or too rounded.
The quality is superb, similar to OEM. Slide serrations are minimal yet very functional.

I have had this optic for about 2 months now and fired 200+ rounds with it. I love it but there is a major flaw that I wish I had known.
Let me get the bad news out of the way.... The "shake-to-awake" function is flawed. After 12 hours of no movement at all, the optic turns itself off and there is no "shake-to-awake". I thought my device was faulty so I contacted the manufacture. They said this is to conserve battery and there is no way to turn it off.
Unfortunately, this makes it much less reliable as a self/home defense optic. If you are anything like me, I often go 12 hours without touching my pistol. If I hear a bump in the night, I now need to turn the optic on. This should have been a feature to turn on/off like other optics.
My fix, when I carry, I ensure the dot is turned on prior.
You should also know, that this optic sits further forward than other optics. You could run into holster compatibility issues, for example the Safariland 63XX needs to be modified for compatibility (there are YT videos). This is not really the fault of the optic, but it would have been nice if the optic sat 1/4 inch back.
The good news... The optic is clear. It holds zero great. The adjustments seem to be accurate. The dot is crisp and not too fuzzy. My personal accuracy has greatly improved with the use of this optic. The price is insanely good for this quality.
Do I recommend this optic, yes, but you should be aware of the "shake-to-awake" faults especially if you intend to use this

Bottom line up front, this is the greatest light ever made. However, I would not recommend it.
The reason why I would not recommend it, is there is very little holster options available. The only holster manufacturer I have found that makes a kydex holster is Alpha Omega. It will not fit in holsters for the surefire x300. If there was more holster options available, say Safariland or Alienware, I would highly recommend it.
The thing I love most about this light/laser combo is that the battery is rechargeable yet replaceable. Sure it sucks that it has a proprietary charging cable, but you could take the battery out and charge it in a battery charger.
