Perfect for working on your rifle. Fits securely and does what it's supposed to do - hold the rifle in your vise so you're free to work on your lower. Great benefit to be able to use both hands to do a job, rather than holding the lower with one hand and working with the other.

Spyderco Rubicon Fold Knife, 3.04in
I absolutely love this knife. Everything about it screams quality - and for the price it should. To be honest, the blade shape maybe isn't the greatest for an EDC type knife. I find myself carrying this knife for light use purposes. I'm sure it's capable of a lot more, but for me it's a little more of a show piece than a working knife.

Kershaw Blur Olive/tiger Stripe
I've been eyeing the Blur for some time now. I have several other kershaw's and this is one of my favorites. It performs well in multiple different roles. The only thing I don't like is that the grip texturing makes it a bit difficult to go in and out of the pocket. And mostly from the texturing on the side with the pocket clip. Simple solution, get some fin sand paper and smooth it to your liking.

Magpul SGA Remington 870 Stock
Great fit and finish and extremely easy to install. Nice to have the adjustable length of pull and a better grip angle. I'm not really a big fan of pistol grips on shotguns, so I guess this is a good compromise somewhere in the middle.

I've been using the Raptor on just about every rifle I own for some time now. It is definitely not cheap for a charging handle, but in my opinion it is the best option. I've used BCM charging handles extensively, but I just keep coming back to the Raptor.
Magpul does it again

I was a bit skeptical when magpul started departing from their bread and butter and began branching into other product lines. However, as with most magpul products, this one is a winner. Has most of the features you would need for average jobs on your AR.

Great lock up and perfect fit. Machining is high quality, as expected from Midwest Industries. Fits nicely on my DDI. Haven't removed and tried to remount to see if it holds a zero. Currently mounted a Primary Arms micro dot and working well thus far.

I wasn't really surprised how much I like this optic, due to so many other good reviews from reliable users. But it is still a bit shocking to see the good performance at this price point. I haven't really put it under any tough abuse yet. But as far as normal operations, it performs just like my aimpoints.

As with all HSP gear, you know what you're getting - quality. Bought this specifically to go with my Mayflower APC, works perfect. Not the first rig I've bought from them, and probably won't be the last. A little on the pricey side, but I guess it's "buy once, cry once".
