This is my second VMX-3T magnifier. I really like them. They are clear and don't add any distortion. These are a great bang for the buck, but the only caveat is, they seem to only work with specific optics.

The optics I have good luck with:
Vortex Strikefire II red dot
Vortex UH1 (gen 1)

Optics I that don't seem to work well with:
Eotech XPS2 300 Blackout - you can see the circle and dots properly, but it looks like you're looking through a rectangle box.
Vortex Sparc/Sparc Solar - it seems to mess with the eye relief somehow. I need to get closer to the optic to see through it clearly.

I would recommend when purchasing magnifiers, try to test them out first especially when using different brands or buying as a set. Buying as a set typically means that they should work together properly.

This is a great magnifier especially for the price, but YMMV.
