I am left handed and I love how this thing helps me cycle, even around flip up sights. I am going to buy another in FDE for my pistol build. On my F-1 upper you can read the name on the top of the receiver which is pretty cool.
I ordered this part, but somehow got the one for an AR-10. I called and OpticsPlanet customer service was great, they sent me an rma number and return shipping label. Now I’m just waiting on my new one to get here. On a side note, afterwards I found out the AR-10 guard is the same as the AR-15 with a different proprietary barrel nut. If I knew this before I would have just gotten that part swapped out.
