I paired this with the Strike Industries Triple Crown Comp and i must say, i am extremely pleased with this piece. I thought it seemed a bit pricey until i held it in my hands. It is heavy duty, adds some noticeable weight to the front end which should keep that muzzle down. But really, it is just a beautifully machined part. The cuts are perfect, finish is really nice and the QD functions flawlessly. There is absolutely no play between the comp and oppressor. No rattle or wiggle whatsoever which was something i was worried about. Seriously though, buy this one.

Spartan Armor Systems AR550 Plates

I purchased these plates for a Shellback Tactical Banshee plate carrier. I ordered the shooter's cut, 10"x12" with the Full Coat. I watched plenty of reviews and ballistic testing on these plates before making the purchase. The level III + rating is accurate. They are fairly heavy though but the trade off for extra protection is a fair one. It'll take a bit of training to get used to the weight as is, and a little more depending on the ammount of gear you attach you your carrier ect.. But i'm scrawny, (about 5'11" and 140lbs) a bigger guy probably wouldn't care as much. Overall, excellent protection for the money. Just make sure you get the full coat to capture the fragmentation otherwise there's no point.

shellback tactical banshee plate carrier

Recieved mine yesterday. Fantastic plate carrier. it is comfortable and holds 10"x12" plates perfectly.It's easy to adjust, and built to last. I'm about 5'11" and 140lbs (in case you are worried that you're too skinny for it to fit properly.) You will not be dissapointed. This was my first purchase from Optics Planet, (along with Spartan AR550 10"x12" plates), but certainly not my last. Customer service is top notch.
