This is a great rangefinder. I bought it primarily for measuring trees, so I needed something with an inclinometer. Buried in the TBR modes is a TRIG mode which is perfect for forestry. In addition to giving the actual distance of the shot, it also displays calculated horizontal distance, as well as calculated sine height. These are the core features of more expensive rangefinders like the Nikon Forestry Pro, so I was very happy to get them in such a inexpensive device.

When the unit is switched from yards to meters, results are displayed in decimeters instead of whole yards, which helps with precision. (Though, reliable decimeter measurements are probably beyond the accuracy of the device.) Have used it to range out to ~500 meters, easily.

Is way smaller and lighter than I expected - great for squeezing in a full pack. Really glad I went with Leupold.
