great shells
Written on Sep 11, 2024
They always go 'bang' when I pull the trigger. But seriously, these are a bit special at 1500 fps. The higher speed cuts leads a bit. Pellets are faster at all ranges than 1250-1300 fps shells. I prefer them over 1 1/4 oz #5 for longer shots at pheasants. Generally, I can use the next open choke size and still get good pattern density and energy on target. Good for late season 2nd barrel grouse load too.

great shells

So far, it goes 'bang' every time I pull the trigger. YMMV, but for me these are a great early season, open choke, close flushing grouse shell in the far north where I open bird season - north of 60 degrees.
