Cheaper than most ambi safeties
Written on Jun 03, 2023
Considering this is cheaper than most ambi safeties, it is an excellent deal. It does, in fact, come with the "cylinder" not just the levers. The packaging isn't great, and the cylinder doesn't seem quite as well made as the levers, but for the price neither issue is big enough to deduct a star.

Excellent for piston kits

Bootleg Inc Bolt Completion Kit
Managed to snag one of these on DVOR for $45, which is an absolute steal for this quality. I needed to finish an Adam's Arms piston BCG, and getting all the parts I needed at once was super convenient (though I didn't actually need a cam pin because it went in a New Frontier side charging upper). I'll happily purchase another at "full price" just for the spare parts.

Cheaper than going to a gunsmith

NcSTAR Universal Pistol Rear Sight Tool
I was able to successfully install Trijicon supressor height night sights on a G19 slide without too much trouble using this tool. Considering that gunsmiths in my area charge like $65 to install a single pair of sights, the fact that I only spent $50 (plus $12 for some digital calipers on Amazon) to be able to install/adjust sights myself has definitely earned this thing 5 stars.

Solid Value

VISM Glock Pro Tool w/ Multiple QD Tool Bits
Super handy. I was especially impressed that they had the forethought to put a small hole in the handle to make firing pin assembly easier. That alone made it worth the money for me. As long as you aren't expecting to receive a full suite of gunsmithing tools for under $20, then this is a solid purchase for anyone assembling/disassembling a Glock pattern handgun.

My New Bugout Bag
Written on Dec 06, 2022
This thing is pretty cool for the price. The plate carrier features all seem to work as advertised, and even though it says the deployable front carrier can only take soft 3A level plates, it actually fully worked my hard 3+ level steel plate. Steel is a bit heavy for it and make putting it on slightly trickier, but as a solution that can be deployed in an emergency, it is more than adequate.

Plunger Depressor Rod/Spring Problem
Written on Dec 06, 2022
Review for
Arms Republic Slide Parts Kit
I actually ordered a Ranier Arms Glock 19 slide kit (from Dvor, Optics Planet's discount site), but in the the Ranier Arms box was a ziplock bag labeled "Arms Republic Glock 17". Given that Glock 17 and 19 slide parts are all interchangeable except for the guide rod, I decided to give it a try anyway. I managed to get the extractor, firing pin firing pin safety, and channel liner all installed, but ran into problems with the plunger depressor rod. Maybe I am just an idiot, but I could not get the spring to attach to the rod for the life of me. I think it must be out of spec, but if I run into the same issue with the OEM parts I just ordered, I will update this review.
