This handguard is one of the lightest on the market. Even lighter than some carbon fiber handguards while being a lot lower cost. The machining is not exactly impeccable. I haven't broken or damaged it yet, but I haven't dropped or beaten it up yet. So far so good.

I have carried one of these every day (No joke every day) for about 3 1/2 years and I have dropped it countless times on concrete. It had a bunch of large deformations/dings in it and much of the finish was worn off. Also the checkering on the body was so worn it was pretty smooth and didn't grip much anymore. One day the electric went out and I was in the bathroom with the light in my mouth the light was kinda flickering a bit I then flushed the toilet and accidentally dropped it... Yes in the toilet while it was still flushing and went away never to be seen again =(. the flickering was probably an easy fix just replace the tailcap but I will never know so sad. well time for light number 2. I think reliability and durability is the most important thing in a light and this light performed well for the price. And a good size for EDC. Glad I didn't flush a surefire.
