I just received my Romeo7s directly from Sig and compared it to a Romeo5 and there is no noticeable difference in the field of view and it may actually be worse. The Romeo7s has a 22mm objective and the Romeo5 has a 20mm objective and either a 10% increase is not enough of a difference to perceive or they just put a larger objective on the same size tube negating any difference. I expected it to be about halfway between a Romeo5 and my MRO (25mm) but it isn't even close. I can see exactly the same field of view as the Romeo5 although the emitter/emitter housing of the Romeo7s protrudes into the tube more than it does on the Romeo5 obscuring the lower right even more and because the body is much larger than a Romeo5, your peripheral vision is affected more as well. Either get a Romeo5 or go bigger and get an MRO or Primary Arms MD-25 or if you want the AAA compatibility buy a Romeo5-XDR or full-size Romeo7. The 7s offers nothing the others don't.

These are great and pretty roomy, my new favorite jeans with one catch. I wear a 36x30 for IWB carry and the waist fits perfectly but for the first time in any pair of jeans, these shrunk in length. I generally wear jeans low, generally around my hips and have never worn a 32 length. After a few washes, these actually shrunk in length and are now about an inch shorter than any other jeans of the same length. I'm now wishing I ordered a 32 length and really wish they made a 31 length.
I'd recommend you order either a size up in length or that you buy one pair and wash them a few time before ordering another.

The only other niggle I have is that there is an extra seam just below the angled 6th and 7th rear pockets that makes the jean a little thick for pocket clips. Their shorts don't have this. I usually carry a flashlight in one of those pockets and it causes the end of the clip to stick out a bit too much and catch my shirt. That's all and other than those 2 things, I really like them and recommend you like them too!
