This reduced my semi auto shotgun recoil to where my wife doesn't incur bruising or reddening of the shoulder but as mentioned, it causes the firearm to bounce forward instead of backwards. It has levels to its function so maybe I could adjust it a little but it takes the bite outta the crime of recoil.
