I was looking for a scope that had some very specific characteristics. This one had them all. A 42 mm objective lens because it’s dorky to have 50 mm on a hunting rifle (too high messes up cheek weld). Adjustable parallax so you can shoot small plates if you want and not have to worry about perfectly centering your eye on the scope image… amazingly clear, bright optics that match the brightness of my Nightforce scope at 1/9 of the price… Great eye relief that allows me to easily shoot with my glasses on at max magnification, non-capped turrets that lock in position, by simply pressing them down, Front and rear rear quick opening lens caps that allow you to keep those lenses clean and dry until the moment before you need to take the shot. I love the two MOA vertical reticle arrangement that does not clutter the field of view, but gives you instant elevation when needed. I zeroed my 30–06 at 100 and then held 2 MOA up and hit a clay pigeon at 200 on the first try. I used Burris signature Medium height 30 mm rings which allow you to cant the scope nose down 20 MOA to increase the vertical range of the scope. So instead of just having 25 MOA of elevation, I ended up with 45+. Outstanding package! I looked all over and am pleased with my selection.
