Spypoint Link-S-Dark - Already Discontinued???

Spypoint released this camera in 2021, marketed the heck out of it before anyone had them available. I was able to order on OpticsPlanet in July, but they didn’t ship until Sept. I ordered two, fast forward to summer of 2022 and the solar battery is completely shot, will not recharge from the solar panel. When attempting to charge from AC power, says it is 100%. Won’t turn on without AC power so I believe the 0% status. After being on the phone with Spypoint customer support for 2 hours, learned they are discontinued. Couldn’t tell me why, but offered alternate cameras to replace them. If you are considering buying these, DON’T. If you haven’t gotten into the Spypoint echo system, think twice for their other cameras. Their customer support is horrible.
