Great mid range scope

I have been looking and waiting for a good mid range scope. Had been looking at 3-18x50 and some 4-20x50 scopes. When this popped up on sale, I checked it out. Love the zoom, to me has a great reticle. Why the mid range scope, 22LR to 500 yards. Mounted on a grey birch chassis, 10/22 receiver, Kidd barrel, Timney trigger. Still working on the ammo it likes, but that is part of the fun.

Review for
MDT Howa 1500 Oryx Rifle Chassis
Received this on 11/3/2023. Looks nice, good machining except on screw on the inside is messed up. All the screws, bolts etc are hex head screws or bolts except this one that is on the inside, it is a phillips head screww that is partially messed up. I believe this screw holds the magazine released mechanism. I sent MDT pictures and a description about a week ago. No response. The screw will not show, but you pay this much money for something, you just want it right. Disappointed. I would have recommended this, but there are other companies that stand by their products much better.

First the chassis is nice. Machined very well and fits together very tight. But for $500 it is way over priced. Missing screws, bolts etc. The manufacture (Grey Birch) does not include instructions. On their web site the instructions for this chassis are outdated, so if you can not figure things out you will have to contact Grey Birch. Again for the money very disappointing. I have yet not fired the 10/22 with this chassis, that is coming this weekend. For $500 there are other options that maybe better.
