Tipton Best Gun Vise
Not overly impressed with this vice. As a gunsmith I am used to fixing stuff, but I don't like fixing new stuff. Out of the box I noticed one of the cams would not cam, so I took it apart and found the hole where the threaded adjuster goes through had not been cleaned up and was causing binding so I had to file that and clean it up and now it's ok. I also noticed while doing this that the spring in this assembly I tweaked rest on the metal threaded part on one side but on the other side just sit's against the plastic casing by the hole I had to smooth up. It would be better to have some type of metal grommet at that end.

It actually works

As a gunsmith I don't know how many reticle leveling systems I have had, but this one actually takes the guess work out of it. As long as you have a gun vise that lets you adjust the cant of your weapon a little and holds it firm this thing is the ticket. With most other ones I have tried there is still some guessing or how's my eye's working today, but this one is straight bubble work and easy to do.
