The JetBeam line of flashlights are the top line of flashlight for multipurpose, for selfdefense to firearms and the Raptor RRT-2 is the best. Its durability and versatility leaves all others in the dust. I have two of the units for home an carry and have given one to my younger sister. Several of her co-workers in Insurance loss prevention( active law enforcement and reserve military are actively trying to obtain the unit from her...not going to happen. Considering her present position the possibility or selfdefense needs are prevalent. She now carries the RRT-2 with her at all times. She says she is still discovering all of the RRT-2 functions.

This is the night site that I used to replace the Novak sights that came on the Ruger American Pistol. Only a little amount of adjustment was necessary to install the Trijicon Front and rear. The only issue I have with this unit is that it does not come with a set screw for the rear sigh. The Novak rear set screw is too large. When I requested an appropriate setscrew from Trijicon, the reply was"At this time, we do not provide, nor do we even inventory, a set screw specific to these sights (the hole is part of the print and these are machined out of house), and it should not be needed with correct fitting. Should you require the screw, it is our understanding that it accepts a 5-40 x 3/16 SHSS. Please contact us if we are able to assist in another capacity.
Respectfully, EL, Trijicon Customer Service" Which to say the least is that if a set screw is not needed then why machine a part for one? This is all a mute point how ever if you have the part installed by a competent gun smith.

Does take some adjustment to provide optimum hearing protection and still be able to hear normal conversation. While using on the shooting range with all isle occupied and in use was a little difficult to adjust for normal conversation and still provide adequate hearing protection.

As long as using with a small headband style hearing protector, unit works fine. However when used with units that have large headbands such as the Walkers Ultimate Digital Quad Connect Muff w/Blue Tooth, which as a wide headband, this holder will not work.

It's a Boker Product sums it up. Quality,sharpness as expected and therefore early cuts through objects (not bones and metals). As long as one members that ceramics by nature ard brittle and do not tolerate strikes to the blades.
