Why am I giving them 2 stars but still recommending them? Simple, if you're anything like me, you're going to over tighten them anyway. The lugs, where the screw goes through, isn't wide enough for the nut to fit. I just slid them rearward and cranked down on those suckers until the handguard moaned. Apparently, this issue doesn't occur with all of them, but 4 out of 5 is atrocious. Optics Planet, this is on you. I wholly appreciate the price point, but you have to check these things. You can see the problem through the packaging. Until the next time... Oh, stay away from drugs. Especially the big pharma kind.
I have Mod 0's and H's. I'm about to build a shorty delta. These are great for what they were designed to do. If you know then you know. If you don't stop writing uninformed reviews.
This could've have been a phenomenal, go to for everything I build, recommend to everyone, forget Midwest Industries handguard if not for a few issues. 1) Where on God's green earth is the anti-rotation tab? This is the first time that I have felt the need to put loctite on barrel nut threads. If you don't expect the handguard to rotate on you. 2) The barrel nut has to be timed. Really? In 2022? 3) No pic rails to completely cover the holes if you did not get a 15" which is kind of ugly (don't blame me because the human mind desires symmetry). I'm only keeping it because it's going on a range toy.
