This optic is great for quick close-target acquisition. The green dot is very bright and has several different brightness settings. For the price, Holosun red and green dot sights can’t be beat. Only complaint is that it isn’t easy to open the battery compartment, but once you get the battery in it shouldn’t need to be changed for a long time as it’s backup-solar powered

Quality in this muzzle break is very nice. While it is a little on the expensive side for a simple piece, the workmanship and durability is worth it. Fit my .300blk barrel perfect with 2 red and 1 no color shims. I have the Surefire Warden Blast regulator attracted to it, but if you have any of the Surefire socom suppressors, they will work as well. Recommend this product if you are a fan of Surefire or are just looking for a way to blow $100+ on a cool looking and functional muzzle device.

In searching for a sunshade for my Leupold Mark AR 3-9x40mm scope I came across this product. This is not a slant on OpticsPlanet as they are the best company around for the products that I search for. This is a direct critique of people who don’t read product descriptions and then feel compelled to write bad reviews trashing the product as if it isn’t their fault. With regards to the three negative reviews on this product, it clearly states in the description that these lens shades ARE MATTE BLACK. Don’t order this if you have a gloss finish scope. It’s a simple as that. While my scope finish is a tad shinier than the sunshade, it’s still matte and looks fine. For goodness sake, if you are so concerned that it isn’t 100% the exact shade of color put some oil on it to shine it up, or return it. SECONDLY I have a MARK AR scope. The 40mm POST 2004 lens shade fits perfectly, absolutely perfectly. No flare or offset. So don’t listen to “Andrew from NH” he probably bought the wrong one because he didn’t read the product description where it said “post 2004.” Lastly, to the person that got the defective sun shade. Just return it. Simple as that. No need to turn people away based on one outlier experience by writing a bad review. To make a long story short, do your reasearch, people. Buy the right product and try it out for yourself. If the majority of people had a positive experience, yours probably will be too. I just bought this for my old M-frame sunglasses. I had lost the nose piece to mine and hadn't been able to wear them for awhile. Every local shop that I went to was either out of stock or didn't carry them.
