OC from United States, NC Public Profile

I did a fair amount of shopping before I finally decided on this gas block. This adjustable block made it a breeze to tune my build. There are two screws, one to adjust the gas and then another on TOP of it to lock it. The second screw is there to keep the adjusting screw from getting out of adjustment. Do not overtighten the locking screw and do not apply Loctite. I have hundreds of rounds on this build and I've checked the locking screw and it's still snug. Wish I could post some pics of it as it really looks good on my SS barrel.

My first one was on a 10.5 300 BO. I was very impressed. These are a little loud but comps always are. The main thing is it works great. Very much worth it's price. I have a couple of other comps that are double in price. They are not better than these. I've just ordered 2 more. One for a 223 Wylde build and another for a 300 BO Pistol. I'm not buying anything else from now on for my builds.

First impression when I took it out of the box and looked through it was dang, the cross hairs are definitely not square with the scope. As I played with it some more I was pleased with the clarity and overall feel. This is a nice scope. Mind you it's not a $600 plus LPVO but it's more than worth the price it's set at. Especially if you can get it on sale. I opted for the one with no mount as I would replace it anyhow and why pay for what I'm not going to use.
The red and green recital have a good range of adjustment. Would be nice if there were offs between settings like some scopes but heck, at this price I can live with it.
I mounted it to a new AR build I recently finished. A 223 Wylde that is more towards a high end build. I didn't cut corners anywhere. I built my own upper and lower completely with higher end hardware. I was reluctant to cheap out on a scope but I figured this might hold me for a while till I come across a nice scope on sale. I will still most likely buy a higher quality LPVO at some point but I'm not in a big hurry to at this point.
So I have it mounted on my rifle and I've aligned the cross hairs in relation to my rifle. I have no complaints. The eye box is better than I expected, quite good really. Glass is clear and zooming in and out is smooth and firm but actually could be a tad more firm but I don't see it being an issue.

Good light, well made and rechargeable. No strob setting is the only draw back for me. This is a very very bright light at the highest level. Not sure what the issue is with the one giving negative feedback on this.I have many weapon mounted lights and a few handheld ones. This light is worth twice the price it's selling for.
