Perfect barebones pack

5.11 Tactical 60L Rush100 Backpack
I have one of these in OD green. It has just enough space to hold everything I need without tempting me to carry more. I like to fill packs to the brim. It has a solid amount of pockets. The back buckle straps allow me to attach a cheap Temu assault pack for grenades at milsims. Not as comfortable as Eberlestock packs, but great for the price. The only con I can find is that you can't wear it with a belt rig because of the waist strap. I prefer plate carriers to belt rigs, so I am fine. You could probably remove the waist strap, but it would reduce comfort. I only upgraded from this pack because I need more grenade space since our squad has grown, and EG67s are heavy.

Review for
Eberlestock V90 Battleship Backpack
I started with the Rush 100 for milsims. I loved the size of the Rush, but it didn't have the space for all my grenades and required a separate Temu assault pack attached to the outside. The battleship is much larger but has very little compartmentalization. I don't 100%trust the side wings to hold what I need them to. My ideal would be a pack of a similar size with more outside zipper pockets. That said, this pack has good ergonomics. I took it to Abkhaz and hauled a load well above recommended weight to the top of a mountain at night. I am not in shape, but I did fine while people behind me were dry heaving at the top. I'm going to try the Terminator by Eberlestock and see how it compares. I'm a fan of their packs now. I would not pay full price for this pack. Wait for a good sale. 4/5 stars
