.223 has 7.62 exit opening - just don’t bother

Got the .223 / 5.56 compensator mx-08s-01-b. The exit opening is 308 / 7.62 size. It will allow 9mm round to pass through. Threads are 1/2 so they’re making one part with different thread options. I’m adding to shorty for flash forward but also needed to function as a little more dwell and not happy, at all. OP shouldn’t sell this sub-par pos. Lined up for picture with real 223 comp but pics not an option here.

Five star at price point, but mlok locations limited

reviews are like….. I’m kind of a handguard snob but own one of these. For an inexpensive handguard it is good option. Moved to micro gas port build and like most all options you need to cut barrel nut for micro port install, no surprise here and no issue with this install. No barrel nut mod needed with pistol or longer port lengths. Durability and finish have held up as well as $100+ options. Downside to me is no mlok cut on 45 so not my design preference for use with light. Also don’t prefer clamp style handguards but I’ve had zero issues with lockdown. it didn’t scratch any of my milspec upper or lowers. Those scratches are from me or using barrier as rest. IMO - Proceed with purchase if a typical weight to length and lower priced handguard is what you need.

Pro Ears Pro Slim Gold Electronic Ear Muffs
For a few extra bucks, take a look at sordin’s line up. With two outings these are worth the just sub $200 price in 2021. Comfortable, excellent noise reduction without too much bulk and audio quality is superb. If your in the 100-150 range looking at peltor or walker these are better value for a little. Cons: did not receive batteries or aux cable. Apparently Altus Brands does not make mistakes and blamed OP. OP fast with rma for replacement and guess what, no batteries or aux cable. Owners manual clearly states included and Altus Brands agrees but isn’t interested in admitting fault. So if you ever need warranty safari land and sordin has your back, pro ears/Altus brands is questionable.

Not all my barrels are chrome lined, but when they are Spikes makes a good option without being too pricey. “get some” before they’re gone. Unfortunately I dropped this one during a build while boating. Optics Planet inventory and order fulfillment always good.

Excellent choice for pistol build

Paired with 11.5” barrel. Enough length & barrel poke to assure you’re clear of the business end, perfect c-clamp size for medium glove hands and short enough to get to carbine length adjustable gas block with ease. If you don’t use all the top rail estate, this is a good choice. Includes mloc QD and short rail
