Great on an MP5

I've been looking at this optic for quite some time, and when it recently went on sale, I pulled the trigger. The mount works great with the diopted sights on my Zenith MP5 so it still allows me to use those should something go wrong with the optic. The reason for the one dropped star is the instructions (and design) of the protective lens covers. Little springs have to be transfered and the manual has ZERO useful instructions. ChatGTP did offer useful insight but that shouldn't be the starting point. I also had to turn down the brightness because out of the box there was LOTS of halo reflection. Turning the brightness down wasn't a big deal and doesn't impact the actual usage, but it did dimisih the initial impressions.
Great retention system, but needs a shorter qd stud!

It used to be shipped with a long and short QD stud; now it only comes with a long stud. This places the weapon further off my chest then I'd like. Strike Industries customer care said they are not currently playing to offer the short stud again.
