Lightweight is right..

Lightweight definitely describes this handguard. It’s so lightweight that one of the screw holes stripped out as l was tightening the screws down. Wasn’t being particularly rough with it, going back and forth between the two screws and one of them stripped out its hole. The other screw had another turn or two to go and tightened down satisfactorily. The hand guard is mounted firmly but l don’t trust it to stay that way. The color also doesn’t match up with the Anderson upper and lower, it being lighter than the Anderson pieces. Overall, not pleased at all with this purchase. At the price l paid, l’m just going to chunk it in the trash and chalk it up to experience.

Ballistic Advantage makes a nice barrel for a decent price. This is actually the second one I’ve purchased, and have been pleased both times. The only qualm l have is that the barrel was too fat to use the dimpling jig l had on hand and had to buy another one to dimple the barrel. Everything went together well, and the gas port was big enough to let my bolt cycle suppressed rounds with a standard gas block without any additional tuning. For me, it was a pretty solid purchase.
