Quick and Easy Set Ups with These

Written on Jun 15, 2016

A few years ago I set up my single stage RCBS press with these Die Bushings for my common reloading dies. I have to say it makes turn around set ups much easier and consistent. These are durable and easy to work with on any press. The only draw back; and it is minor, is the dies other than Hornady dies don't fit back in their original box well with these on them. This I can live with.

All You Need Is Right Here

Written on Jun 15, 2016

Having recently acquired a .308 Winchester rifle, it was natural to want to reload my own rounds. This has been a perfect solution for meeting my needs. I am not a competition shooter, no need for dial indicating each round. So this works very well. Some of the attributes that are included in this cost effective package are the four dies. Most manufacturers have two. Also, the primer remover is designed to slip should a primer be too tight to remove so you don't stop production with a broken pin. The set includes a full case resizing die and a neck sizing die should you decide to load for one rifle. This is a nice feature if you are concerned about head space issues. Finally, the Lee products always make available and in this case it is included, the crimping die. Some people like this feature and some don't. But if you have a concern about recoil and the cases in the magazine getting a bit shorter with every trigger pull then this is your answer. As always the shell holder is included so you don't have to figure out which one to purchase on the side. Why the other manufacturers have not figured this little feature out is beyond me. I have loaded and fired hundreds of rounds with this set and recommend it for the average reloader.

Primers Are Tight

Written on Feb 05, 2015

I have had the opportunity to load a number of loads with the RCBS Rock Chucker Supreme and the RCBS RC Supreme Auto Prime System. It took a little work to gain familiarity with the mechanism and become proficient with its use but after a few hundred loads I got it down. I have loaded 45ACP up to 300 WBY Magnum rounds with this set up and I can tell you when the primer is set in place it is tight.

To make it work most efficiently the RCBS primer tray is essential in loading the primer feed tube. This little item really improve efficiency when it became part of the process.

Enjoy, this is all part of the fun of reloading.
