Just glad I have another 1x6 to have made a comparison with. My other one (Tru Glo) 1x6 has clearer glass in my opinion, better finish, smoother throw lever and dial movement, better reticle. Do a comparison on some of the features.
SIG, I just can’t get the same clarity from it, focal plane is a lot touchier so it seems, shaded area at the range made it a bit difficult producing a shadowy area in the focal plane. Like I said the finish is durable, just resembles a flat matte surface. Reticle is pretty simple, standard cross hair view. Throw lever is still pretty stiff, recommend Loc Tite on that, dials seemed a bit weak on positive firm clicks. Took 15 rounds to site it in on my AR at 75yards x6 power because I’m ancient.
Catch one on sale, you’ll feel better about the money spent.

Put this Adams Arms PS 1 upper on a PSA lower build, absolute great match, nice tight fit. I’m completely sold on the piston system, ran a hundred rounds through the rifle on the initial trip, flawless operation, mounted a cheapie red dot on it and put the rounds where I wanted them at fifty yards. Really wanted to see if all the talk of piston system ran cleaner, the tear down for cleaning proved that, no carbon build up on the BCG, simple wipe down sufficed. Did notice a bit more recoil compared to my other AR? Had heard and read people doing the retrofit using the Adams piston conversion kit we’re having some problems with FTF, FTE. Don’t know, could be several variables at play there. I’m glad I purchased the complete upper, had fast response from the company on all the questions I had, I had questions on the warranty if purchased through a second party and not factory direct, they stand behind their product to the original purchaser regardless of where you buy. Give another review at the thousand round count.

Pro’s are- well built, good glass, good mount it stayed tight after a days shooting on an AR, works for me out to 50yds, clear very visible dot in the brightest mode, the green dot worked best for me in daylight, easy battery compartment access, lifetime warranty. Cons- I’m not able to make adjustments on the scope without pulling away to insert the cap in the dial slot for adjustments, push buttons on the side of scope for “On Off” the brightness, dot color selection leave a bit to be desired, finger must be positioned just right on the buttons to get them to function, anyone with huge paws is going to have trouble.
