For all my LE people out there looking for a light that wont break the bank, this is the way to go. Bright enough for low light room clearing but doesnt blind you, also has a really decent throw for some distance shots. Have it on my rifle and its been banged around my patrol vehicle and so far is holding up just fine. Its not as good as a surefire, obviously, however its hard to beat for the price and I am happy with my purchase. I recommend a 3.5 in picatinny rail section (for mlok handgaurds) and a 45 degree offset picatinny mounting plate. I set it up that way and its in the perfect location.

good quality for the price

My Agency uses these on our patrol rifles so I ordered it for my personal rifle. I had to trim it up and shorten it in areas but its solid and does what its supposed to. The padded version is comfortable. The mechanisms to tighten and loosen it to your body take some getting used to but after playing with it, I had no issues. Would buy this for all of my rifles.

Good quality rail but....

The rail itself is really good quality. Its super light, sturdy, and looks great. However the rail is secured by a clamp that uses only 2 small bolts and everytime I shoot my AR, the rail walks forward and I constantly have to loosen the bolts to slide the rail back into place and tighten them back. Ive tried tightening the bolts as much as I can, and I even pull the rail toward me as I shoot and the problem persists. Im not sure if maybe mine is defective, or if this is a design flaw. For a $200 rail you would expect it to stay in place. I am very disappointed.
