Purchased for bait finesse fishing. Ranked by many as a top ties BFS rod. Rod has a great feel to it. After seeing the rod, I am concerned about the size of the micro guides and casting interference with the braid-to-leader knot. Other reviews have stated no issue. Time will tell.

Purchased this specifically to mount an ATN THOR 5 thermal. Specs said it would accommodate. While ring spacing is fine, it will not accommodate models with a large scope optic front lense

I have the X-Sight II HD scope and found using the buttons on top of the scope to be challenging at times - not always easy to get your fingers on the right one, etc. When I saw that ATN was coming out with this accessory I was optimistic that this would give me an easier, more ergonomically comfortable way to control the features of the scope. I happened to go to the NRA show in Atlanta and had a chance to talk first hand with the ATN folks about this item. After those discussions, I placed an order through Optics Planet. Once I received, I read the instructions, mounted it on my weapon and synced with the scope. There were some initial challenges with the syncing - possibly due to operator error but a quick call to ATN technical support resolved those issues easily and quickly. So far, this accessory has met all expectations in actual field use.

This is my second set of these particular rings. I have used on a .243 and 22 mag. have stayed secure. I like to night hunt for predators and these mounts work very well for attaching a hunting light above your scope. sure you could find other uses as well.

generally easy to install. most difficult part was removing exisiting retain ring on sling stud. follow instructions for marking to get the desired orientation. worked well for mounting a flashlight.
