Avoid this manufacturer. This upper receiver has so much slop even while using a Sharps Bros. lower receiver. Purchased this and a Sharps lower and the fit is horrible. Contacted the manufacturer and all they did was respond with snide remarks on their email. Will never purchase another Sharps Bros product again. Instead of offering help they give smart remarks. You have been warned. Avoid this product unless you want to use shims to make it slightly normal. This is the loosest set I have ever built on. Avoid!!!!

Braided Spring Does Not Fit

ALG Defense AK Braided Main Spring
The loop on the braided spring is too long and does not fit any hammers including ALG's own hammer. This is why some reviews say the hammer doesn't reset. Save yourself the headache and purchase any other brand from another retailer. ALG/Geissele is aware of the issue and is not doing anything about it but suggesting that yiu grind your trigger down to allow the hammer to reset. Why would I do that when plenty of others sell the proper sized hammer spring. Do not buy. You have been warned.
