Break in was ROUGH!!!!!!!
I’m talking 200+ failures to feed/extract. Honestly, I was close to shelving it for good.
Took it out on a shooting trip and a buddy kept pushing to run it. About 100 rounds later… everything changed. This thing started running BEAUTIFULLY � ��.The recoil impulse is unlike anything I’ve felt, super soft, and the muzzle flip is basically nonexistent. It completely transformed the gun. By the end of the trip, it was the star of the show, and that’s saying a lot considering what else we shot that weekend.
Whatever kind of black magic Trinity Nevada is working with keep it coming!!
100% worth it. Must buy.

Not “less recoil” — better return to battery and faster follow-up shots

DPM XD-M Elite 4.5in Recoil Spring
I initially bought this expecting recoil to disappear. That’s not what it does, but what it does is more important. During rapid fire, my optic dot now tracks and returns to the same point instead of bouncing and settling elsewhere. The slide returns to battery faster, allowing quicker and more consistent follow-up shots. It cycled 124gr 9mm flawlessly and actually improved reliability. Installation couldn’t be easier, and the multiple springs let me tune the setup precisely. Huge win for performance, especially in competition.
