Reticle is too small

I dont know if this is a defective unit, but it is one of the first round of gold dots in this line, and I got it for my daughter because like me she is colorblind and she can see gold dots where I can see the geeen dots. The reticle is so small on this that it makes it really hard to see the dot at all or the circle dot. Even under a Holosun 3x magnifier or an Eotech magnifier I cannot read what is supposed to be next to the hash marks with the 4th reticle setting. Comparing it to my AEMS green dot optic the reticle size is similar but the AEMS is much easier to see. My daughter has an AEMS gold dot and loves it but this model has been a disappointment.

This is an excellent muzzle brake and is very effective at redirecting the gasses in the correct directions to reduce recoil…. But this version is not compatible with the Defcan7 silencer and was not what I really needed.
