Best Value Pistol Red Dot

Written on Apr 15, 2020

After trying a few different Micro Red Dots and finding the learning curve to be a little tough to "find the dot", I was encouraged by a friend to try the 507c due to the "circle dot" reticle. Let me tell you, it makes a HUGE difference if you are just learning or relearning having that big 65 moa circle rather than a 2 moa dot hiding just out of the field of view! I installed it on my new CZP10C and I've run about 750 rounds through it and it works like a dream. This little red dot is a game changer!!!

Solid All Around Optic

Written on May 01, 2018

I have bought three Primary Arms MRDS sights over the past 7 years or so. Always an incredible value. This is my first dive into their magnified optics, and so far so good! The reticle and illumination are top notch, and it actually has a little better eye relief than I was expecting. With a GDI quick release mount, I could still mount back up irons and have the sight snap right into view quickly. The eye relief is a little better than a couple of 4x ACOGs I've tried. Disclaimer:I have not had the chance to take it to the range yet. At longer ranges, and especially at night, it seems to really be nice and bright. No expert, but that is probably the result of having a larger objective lens than most 1-6 optics, which have disappointed me in low light. In dorking around with it dry firing with a laser target and presenting it at cqb ranges around the property, it seems to be only a little slower to get it in the "bad guy isn't going to ignore that" zone than my red dots. Keep both eyes open and it all works out. Occluded the optic by dropping the front lens cover and it's just as fast as a MRDS, but it shoots about 4 inches left and 1 inch low. Your milage will vary. All around, I couldn't be more pleased with this optic so far... No trigger time yet, though so stay tuned...
