Ten + years ago I tried Aguila .22 ammo, but was not satisfied with it at that time. Recently I watched a youtube video of Paul Harrell doing a comprehensive actual shooting comparison of about 5 different brands of hypervelocity .22LR cartridges. I have great respect for data from Paul Harrell's test results showing Aguila Interceptor to be very accurate and to have an actual velocity very close to the 1470fps as printed on the ammo box. Seeing that it performs outstandingly I ordered quite a few boxes.

As always, Fiocchi ammo is one of the better built cartridges. With performance living up to advertised ballistics. I would expect for velocity from a 4 to 6 inch barrel with minimal gap at the forcing cone to be close to 1000fps. Even with the 1 7/8" barrel though,I believe this Fiocchi is still a lethal load.
