The buffer weight has a raised center that fits in to the back of the BCG. This raised center makes taking the rifle appart a pain in the rear. The raised center effectively prevents pivoting the upper away from the lower on the front take down pin. Instead, i have to pull both pins and wiggle the upper foward until the buffer clears the BCG. This raised center is not pictured in any of the add photos.
