God… I love the stability, design and technology of this thing. I can’t imagine a scenario where you would not want the flip to the side mount. Get the FTTS option. It is solid and marries perfectly with Eotech Holographic sights.

I’ve been shooting for around 50 years and have witnessed trends and overly-biased judgments the entire time. The EXPS 2 with the G33?(matching 3X flip to the side magnifying scope) is the best optics I have ever used. I am retired and on a finite budget so I have no experience with the $2,000 dollar plus optics. But for me…I can’t think of any way to improve this set-up! Maybe a life time guarantee vs their 10 year guarantee would be nice…. I wish I could find a similar quality low profile height green laser/light …. There’s a lot of cheap €#£¥ out there.

I bought one of these about 5 years ago and was happy with it. When researching to buy an additional light/laser I decided on getting the same model as it mostly served the purpose. When mounting the new Stream Light I noted the same lack of quality control as my first purchase. Both of my Stream Lights have a misplaced wind age and/or elevation adjustment screw. The allen adjustment wrench must be inserted at nearly a 45 degree angle to securely engage the adjustment screw.

I’m exchanging this item for a light/green with better quality.

This rail is a solid build but is designed without the ability to adjust for a secure attachment. The single attachment screw doesn’t tighten or loosen to secure its fit onto your rail. I am in the process of returning this Daniel Defense adapter as an exchange for something sturdy & adjustable.
