Paul Brogren from United States, MI Public Profile
Got this spring set to accommodate the 3.5lb trigger kit I installed on my Glock. Took a little trial and error to figure out which one would function the best. For me I think the 6lb spring works best. But, that's because I've polished everything and run a 13lb recoil spring on a Stainless steel rod.
I picked this sight up for my Ruger 10/22. It's mounted on an approximately .7" see through riser. I really like this sight. Both Green and Red dots are clear and crisp. Only the + reticle is slightly crooked. Only slightly. It's due to how the switch lever rotates the reticles from one to the next. The main reason I choose this sight out of all my choices was because the on/off buttons are located on the side of the lens housing. Instead of a dial. Plus it uses 2032 batteries. It's common battery that is readily available and relatively inexpensive. I torqued the mounts screws to 18 inch pounds. It's nice and tight to the rail. It holds zero like a champ! Put 100 rounds downrange and it holds true. Adjustments need a 3mm allen key. Adjustments have a faint click. It comes in the blister pack package. Speaking of the package. When it arrived. I opened it and through the plastic it looked like the sight had gotten dinged up. After opening it was just some lite dust. Probably off latex gloves. Quick wipe and gone. Very nice looking. The battery that was pre-installed was dead on arrival. It came with a 2nd and it works fine. Yes, I would buy this again. Wouldn't think twice about it. It's worth more than what it's selling for. I'm not knocking off stars for the little stuff.
I purchased this sight wanting to know if I'd like shooting my AR with a green dot, instead of a cross hairs scope. Going into this purchase I knew I might have issues with my astigmatism. In fact I do have slight distortion of the red dot and even less with the green. I had 2 different friends look through the sight to confirm if reticle itself was skewed or if it is my eyes. It's my eyes. Both people told me both green and red reticles are clear and "dot" shaped. To prove it to myself I took photos of both reticles. It holds zero nice and solid. The turrets both have lock screws to fix it in place. I personally don't use them. QD works as it should and sight is still zeroed after take-off/re-install. It's a nice sight. Id buy it again, if I ever need to. But, it's a well made item. Should last a long time. If not, the manufacturer customer service takes care of its customers. I wish I could post the photos of both reticles, but this app doesn't appear to have a add on link.
