Vortex GE v Nightforce Comp

The scope the VGE will probably be compared to the most would have to be the Nightforce Competition 15 -55 x 52, from the outset let me say owning both and comparing them side by side my NF appears clearer then the VGE at all zoom ranges. I could resolve 6mm holes at 500m with it but not the VGE, in fact my weaver T36 is clearer as I could see the numbers on a target at 100m without a problem but I struggled with the VGE set at approx 36x. The VGE comes with numerous accessories and the ECR-1 reticle is great choice, I wish my NF had it.
Value for the money the VGE is a good scope, it cost me about $900AU less than the NF. The build quality appears fine, the turrets feel good. If possible I would try look through one for a while to see if it will suit your needs.
