Fits well, but the two original equipment mounting screws (from the Remington 710) are about a 1/4" too long for this pad. The result is that after tightening the screws down, the Limbsaver pad is still loose. Fixed it by adding a stack of small washers to each screw. I guess you could get two shorter screws too, but I didn't have those handy.
Haven't fired it yet, but it is obviously more forgiving than the stock Remington recoil pad, so should knock the felt-recoil down.
