Review for
Real Avid Armorer's Master Gun Vise
For all gun repairs and maintenance this is truly the best investment I have ever make. Short of adjusting the vice to be used upside down it's the most versatile I have ever used. Money well spent and I would highly recommend purchasing.

Leupold VX-2 3-9x40mm Rifle Scope
I owned several Leopold VX-III and have raved about them to my friends. I absolutely love them. This VX-II however has been disappointment. I bought it from Optics about four years ago. It served me well until this year. I always check zero before hunting season. At the range first shot dead center X-ring. This is what I expect from my Leupold. While hunting I missed a deer standing broadside at 48 yrds. I spent an hour looking for blood. I just couldn't believe I missed. I thought I must have messed up or my Remington 721 was ready for retirement, it couldn't have been the Leupold.
Later that day I shot a standing deer at 100 yrds. but hit it in the hind quarters. It must be the rifle I thought. I'm a much better shot than that. I took it to the range. It was shooting 8" groups bench rest at 100 yrds. I put the scope on a .243 still not able to believe that it was the scope. The .243 shot 8" groups as well. I replaced the scope on the .243 with a cheap Chinese scope an was shooting the 1" groups that I'm used to. I finally had to admit that it was the Leupold. I mailed it back to Leupold, but have lost confidence in this brand. When hunting I want to feel confident that I can dispatch an animal quickly and humanly, which to me means pinpoint accuracy without compromise. This particular VX-II unfortunately failed.
