This is my second review. I bought a mag loader expressly for thus magazine. Without a mag loader you can load two rounds. With the mag loader I loaded 8 rounds only once, usually five is all I can cram in. It’s terrible to load but had no feeding problems. I will continue to work with this one but want buy another.

This case has elastic loops to secure extra magazines. The loops are too small for Canik 9mm double stack mags or Sig 45 single stack mags. You can get them in the loop but it takes effort. Works well with Ruger 22 single stack mags. Everything else about the bag is nice.

This magazine fit my old German P220 perfectly and dropped perfectly. On first use I could not load more than two cartridges not having a mag loader. The follower dipped forward under pressure and made loading near impossible. The problem was the string was facing the wrong way when properly oriented you could stuff 5 cartridges in the 8 round mag by hand. I ordered a mag loader. The follower and end cap are plastic and the end cap in particular looks weak and prone to break. This magazine was the most difficult to reassemble I have ever seen. Getting the end cap on properly took many attempts with parts flying under spring pressure on numerous occasions. This was bought as a spare magazine as the two original 7 rounders are in perfect condition. I will keep a eye out for springs for old magazines and a billet end cap for new one.

Galco says the Cop holster works with a 2” belt but it does not work with my 2” double thickness gun belt. It’s works good with a 1.5” belt have not tried any others. I might have a leather man make the belt holes wider so I can use my 2” thick belt.

They worked without issue . I only trust factory magazines even though they cost more. Reviews must be 200 characters so I’m talking BS to hit the minimum. I do recommend picking up a few extra magazines for older pistols as they are impossible to find when you need them in a hurry.
