I love this thing. Bolted right onto my Sig P365XL everyday carry pistol (with its optics cut slide) in just a few minutes, needing a 5/64" hex wrench to remove the Sig rear sight. Small, fits very low, protrudes less than .80" above this slide. I prefer the default reticle, dot with circle, for speed. The dot alone is very precise for accuracy. Very easy to change brightness and reticle, owners manual is clear. The shake awake works fine. Memory keeps your preferred reticle & brightness when you awaken it. Not a red dot shooter, I dry-fired a couple hundred times to get familiar with presentation and finding the dot, then ran 100 rounds through it, precise aiming, no drama. I do prefer this green to a red dot due to old eyes. Been shooting iron sight pistols 60 years, think I'm a green dot convert. I haven't abused it so can't attest to its durability, aside from no problem using it to rack the slide. The provided vestigial rear sight isn't of much use, way too big a slot, but it's easy to ignore. Strongly recommend this one.
Followup to my earlier review. My barrel mikes at .35535" (slugged) on my Mitutoyo micrometer. Suspecting possible roughness I lapped it extensively, which bumped most velocities a little. After lapping WIN Ranger 127-gr +P+ went from 1195 fps to 1233 (extreme spread=17.) Speer 147 Gold Dot went from 940 to 964 (ES=20.) WIN Ranger 147 JHP was completely unchanged at 932 fps. WIN brown box Service Grade 115 FMJ went from 1107 to 1149. A light handload of 124 JHP with W231 powder went down from 1036 to 1026, both of which are slower than in the original Sig barrel. So most velocities are a bit faster than in the Sig 3.75" barrel, after lapping. But a 2% after-lapping velocity increase over the original 3.75" Sig barrel with my 127-gr Ranger (1204 to 1233) won't convince me to carry the P365XL with this longer barrel.
