It Works, it's not 4.5 but 3.0

Written on Nov 28, 2017

Before I forget, I mounted this on an ar that has a "NON" night vision compatible eotec and I am able to see the reticle with the Equinox Z. This thing works great with the IR. However, even with a fairly bright moon I am noticing I still need the IR on low. I still need to fuss around with it some, as I am thinking maybe I wasn't "standing" in the moonlight but I didn't think I needed to for the NV to collect the light. Also, this Z is listed as 4.5x40 but it only zooms to 3x, I don't get that. I don't mind so much...3x is good but the 3x runs $70 bucks or so cheaper. I am waiting on op to reply to my question on the listing, I will update if possible. Oh....haven't used the recording option, didn't really buy it for that, so can't rate it for that. III% Peace

seems quality

This relatively inexpensive nc star green laser seems pretty solidly made, mounted up nice and tight on the front picatinny rail of my Mossberg 500 tac, got it sighted in very easily with my front sight. However, it has not felt the recoil of the SG yet and that says a lot...its untested, hoping it holds zero and doesn't malfunction. I will try to update this review after I put some rounds downrange. Initially I am impressed with the apparent quality. Peace

Not to good

I returned these as the fit and finish was sub standard. They we flimsy and seemed fragile. They needed too many batteries and in order to put them in I thought I was going to break it so I never installed the batteries to check function, that is why they received 2 stars not 1. Spend a few more bucks get Leight impact pro, I did and happy with leight

Romeo 5 junk

Assembled where? It's obviously not in the USA! I bought this relatively low priced optic for my beretta carbine which I am not using for home defense so...I didn't buy eotech or aimpoint. I was just going to plink so I didn't want to spend $500 or more on a red dot. Well..it wasn't inexpensive it was cheap. Made "assembled" in china, I didn't realize this or even think it could be having the Sig name. To get to the point, when I was sighting it in it point of impact was high and left, I adjusted it right and down, next group was even further left. Repeated the process and even further left...so I adjusted it left and then it came to the right. Just save $200 more bucks and get an eotech 512 or aimpoint pro. I have both of these on a sam7sf and a galil ace.
