Jack of All Trades, Master of None

Written on Sep 07, 2026

Overall its makes a nice hammer with interchangeable heads, but I cant recommend it to anyone. Its very awkward to use with a torque wrench making it poor at castle nuts. Maybe you get lucky and it seems like the barrel nut and crow foot wrench actually are the size you need. With the amount of proprietary handguard designs these days that seems unlikely. Invest in the right tools instead. A set of quality crow foot wrenches may even come in handy working on the car.

NOT COMPATIBLE WITH HOLOSUN

Written on Jul 05, 2026

The screw pattern on the Omni is compatible with a Holosun HM3X, but it does not raise a HM3X high enough to use with a red dot on a Unity Fast Micro mount. The Holosuns have a raised mounting base that causes it to sit lower on the FTC mount. Not only does it not align with the red dot on a Fast Micro riser, it obscures the backup iron sights below. Unity Tech support said they are aware of this and recommended the FTC Holosun specific model, but that does not completely solve the probem. It works, but not well. I suggest choosing a different magnifier or a different riser and FTC combo. Also, the Q&A for this product is deceptive to state that it works with a HM3X. While technically you can mount an HM3X on it, it will not work with a red dot on a Unity Fast Micro riser.
