Don't like to see parts wasted. So I bought the extention and installed it on a factory charging handle. Works well feels sturdy. No complaints easy to install if you have smallest of mechanical bones.
This extended charging handle seems functional enough. Ran it through many dry fire drills before range testing. Operates as expected. Nothing fancy price is right.
