Already have the original Kaw Valley linear compensator on a PCC and it worked well to reduce impact to shooter and folks nearby. Wanted something similar on 308 carbine and saw this offer. Have not shot it yet, so will update to five stars after. Installation can be tricky. Had a spare 308 crush washer but it was too thick so used feeler gauges trial and error until determined .028 spacer would be just enough to torque 1/8 turn to top dead center between top vent holes. Sent off and got a set of timing spacers, tried a few combinations and confirmed .028 was just right. Added a dab of blue thread locker and torqued to 50 in-lb to top dead center. Now to do some shooting.

Excellent craftsmanship, well stitched heavy canvas outer, nylon/rayon liner with padding and two compartments. Just enough room for PCC rear half with optic. My only criticism is a lack of sleeves for magazines, but with poly mags, not a problem of scratching.
