First off, I have had a night vision monocular some 15 years ago. There is no comparison between that and this current generation of night vision. The controls on this scope are very easy to use, and you can adjust quickly.
The optics are great, not as good as a regular scope during the day, but close enough. The night vision is in black and white but very clear. In pitch black, you need to turn on the included illuminator. It works fantastic. You will have no problem seeing and targeting whatever you are after. Overall, I think it is a great deal.
