Installed on my Beretta 1301 tactical Gen 3 and it was sturdy on high damp (HD) setting with 00Buck.
went through a few hundred round and felt like a cat paw is pushing you instead like a hard punch.
I had Remington 870 tactical pump with Blackhawk knoxx specops gen III coild/stock combo and by far the hydraulic works wonder.
By all means they both works great but since Knoxx are just polymer with coil set in between the gun and stock, this hydraulic is build way more sturdy and reliable and long lasting. you can't go wrong with this.

As the title said, this thing works like butter while you shoot, but you need to get used to it from pump style.
I have it on my Beretta 1301 and set on HD=high damp for 00Buck 2/3" 12Ga.
Since Beretta is using gas blink system you have to keep your self stiff up to actually push the gun forward to get the gun to fully cycle through and eject the round. NOTE!! when i first install and compare from Remington 870 pump, i didn't need to stay all stiff with blackhawk knoxx coil shock stock since it is a pump 870. But because Beretta is a gas system, the blow back needs to keep it a bit stiff since the kynshot hydralic ate up all the force for itself to push back, so at this point, you gotta push a bit yourself, seriously took me a minutes to adjust and wonder why the shell got stuck inside a brand new gun at first try.

Put this on my new Beretta 1301, solid sturdy build, great ergo and grip texture!!
It stays in your hand while you have the firearm either pointing up or down, some flat regular grip might have slip if your palm gets sweaty.

had this on Beretta 1301 and co witness with original sights using low pro footprint bracket, perfect for 1301 and holds 0 at all time.
long lasting battery and shake awake is perfect for home defense in a iffy.
Best part is auto awake and auto adjust brightness, home invasion or break-ins usually happens at night when there is no lights.
This helps balance your sleepy eyes just bright enough to be visible but not too bring that basically you can see anything pass that.
