I love that this fits the aesthetic of what I wanted to achieve for my VSKA. Feels good and looks great, not major fitting required and you can never go wrong with Magpul. Highly recommend for a sturdy fixed stock option.
best budget muzzle brake

I’m not a lawyer and this is not legal advice but if you want to go for a cheap California compliant muzzle brake just get this. It is the most bang for your buck and flattens out any recoil for any caliber I’ve used it for.

I have been using this on every build I have. With the fin being necessary for California compliance this is the only safety that works and it works well. Literally the only safety that I’d use for a CA compliant rifle and it feels like it was designed to work naturally like this. Buy this and you won’t be sorry

This dot is robust, sturdy, clear and precise. There is no reason Trijicon or vortex need to be charging $300,$400 or $500 for a red dot…I get the difference in cost but this is a game changer. I’ve had swamp fox on a few of my guns and I’ve then. Rugged workhorse, I’m not easy on my guns and this holds it own. Recommend before spending major money on dots.

Best option for safety selectors on the market. Multiple options, works ambi, with or without fin…simply the absolute best safety selector, period. I always change 3 things out of any AR build, the safety, the trigger and the muzzle brake, and this is hands down the only safety that gets installed in my guns, every time.

Best ambi safety there is, period. I have always wanted a quick and easy safety for myself and my fiancé who is left handed and it is easy to manipulate. It is very easy to know the status of your weapon both by look and feel...I can’t recommend this more.

ODIN Works Extended Magazine Release Gen II
I have these on every single AR I own, I wouldn’t operate anything without it since it easily indexes, fits all hand sizes and allows for quick ejection of the mag with a standard A2 pistol grip, canted California compliant fin grip or unconventional grips like thordsden or juggernaut setups. I would definitely recommend gen 2 over gen 3 for recee or battle rifle builds but would get gen 3 for competition setups to save a few grams of weight if that matters. Great color options to match any build and definitely feels like a quality machined part.
Defective and Stripped, DON’T BUY

This item must have been shipped to me defective because this never allowed my QD to mount or seat properly. Looks like it has been stripped, it works as an endplate just fine but I bought it to work for my sling which it never did. OpticsPlanet shouldn’t sell this, don’t waste your money. Guntec, get it right before you ship any more of these out.

The QD insert properly fits into other mounts just fine but won’t seat into this no matter what angle I try. It fit the first time but since has either stripped the inside of the mount causing it to slip or it just is warped and won’t allow proper seating to get a grip. Worst mount I’ve used. Stick with magpul, if you go cheap, there’s a reason it costs less. Waste of money

Literally the best BANG for your buck...doesn’t look or feel like a “budget” red dot...honestly I don’t know how this could get any better for the price. I’ve used everything from Trijicon, holosun and basically all the name brands that get recognition but are almost as expensive as the gun you put it on...I get why they cost that but not anymore considering this has everything you’d want in a situation that you pick this up for reliable self defense and use it on your edc. Amazing value for what it is, a good, solid, reliable red dot.
