I bought Pulsar Thermion XQ38 when it first came available on Opticsplanet and had to wait two months to receive my scope (I'll give credit to COVID-19 on that) to find out that it does not work as it is supposed to. The scope seemed to work well for anything under 20 feet, after that it was a near useless. It could identify heat signatures up to about 50 yards (not the 1200 yards that it is supposed to) and with that it was so "blocky" that you honestly could only make out that it was a heat source. There was no way to see ANY background (trees, scrubs, grass, etc...) due to clarity issues.
Needless to say, I am not pleased after spending over $3000 on a scope that I waited 2 months to get and due to COVID and any other return policy. I will not be able to see how this will turn out for a few more months!
