Great Product for the Price

Written on Aug 23, 2015

Sturdy little bipod that I purchased for my AR. Not the lightest but well made and great price. Mounted quickly to my rail and the adjustment controls are solid. The unit is 1/4 the price of others and I believe that the costs do not warrant (in my opinion) the additional outlay.

Nice unit but did not come with the advertised batteries

The light is well made and I like the short design as it is perfect for my SBR. The pressure switch has the right amount of required pressure to activate; two taps and a trippy strobe appears for all your rave/edm needs. Hopefully OP will mail me a couple of CR123A to make the order complete. I will update when/if they do.

All that everyone says it is

Written on Jun 09, 2015

Right off the bat, the clarity of the optics is superior to anything I have used in the past. Built like a tank and worth every penny. I went with the BAC and took all of 10 min to adapt. I live in the NW so the green would wash out in most of my applications due to foliage. The red chevron is crisp and provides quick acquisition. I would not hesitate to purchase another if needed.

Great product but careful with installation

Decided to remove my Magpul angled grip and replace with this unit. I placed added my 1K lumen Nitecore but it did take some tweaking. Since lights are so varied in their diameter, it is important to adjust as necessary. I actually used some coban medical tape to build up the diameter and finished with tacky cloth tape to give the grip's housing a better 'bite' so as mot to slip. Overall, I am happy with this addition to my rifle. It is true, do not place undue pressure on the hex bolts as stripping the threads may happen.

Great bag for the price

Written on Nov 18, 2014

This bag is suitable for one or two rifles. Plenty of velcro straps to attach your weapon. I would add that the pull cords attached to the zippers can easily come off and although that is such a minor thing, I did want to mention so as to be comprehensive.

Great value for the $

Reviewed the heck out of this optic on several different sites. Purchased based upon price, rebate & reviews. Unit came well packaged as all items from Optics Planet. Mounting was easy and quick. I really like the 1/3 MOA adjustments. Was able to zero on the 25m range and confirmed zero @ the 100m mark. The illumination is best for low light situations and the etched reticle was sufficient for daylight use. This is not an optic to replace an Eotech with 3X but it does come pretty darn close. Highly recommended.

Poor optics

Written on Sep 22, 2014

I read every review posted on this site and made the decision to purchase based on the reviews and price point. OP sent with free shipping and was delivered in a prompt fashion. I will say that OP packs very well. Upon opening the box, I could see that the Mueller's frame was well constrcuted and the unit fit perfectly on the rail of my AR15. The downside: The right reticle was off axis leading me to believe there was a flaw in the glass causing the distortion. I suppose that this issue is rather moot since it is a CQC sight and I would not be using the axis reticles but rather the center dot for shot alignment. Be that as it may, I would not want to have to think about the flaw every time I used the weapon. I believe you get what you pay for and a $100 optic is going to be prone to issues. Guess I am buying the Meprolight Mako.
